Project Workflow

From demand confirmation to batch delivery, what nodes do OEM projects usually pass through?

A complete OEM project usually includes demand confirmation, quotation evaluation, proofing, sample confirmation, production preparation, quality inspection and shipment delivery. Each node needs clear confirmation records.

Project personnel inspect product samples and delivery documents

OEM projects usually go through multiple consecutive nodes from ideation to completion of delivery. Understanding these nodes in advance will help prepare information and reduce the wait caused by untimely confirmation.

The first step is to confirm the requirements. Both parties need to clarify the product use, specifications, quantity, brand and packaging requirements, sales area and expected delivery time, and distinguish between the conditions that must be met and the conditions that can be adjusted.

The second step is plan and quotation evaluation. Based on existing products, customization scope, materials, processes, packaging and quantity, confirm the feasible direction and cost structure. If a new structure is involved, design and verification time need to be reserved.

The third step is proofing and sample confirmation. Samples are used to check size, function, appearance, accessories and packaging; all modifications should be recorded, and the final confirmed version will be used as the basis for production preparation.

The fourth step is production preparation and process inspection. After the materials, process data, packaging requirements and schedule are confirmed, production begins, and attention is paid to appearance, size, function and packing information in accordance with the agreed inspection items.

Finally, there is shipping and delivery. Check the quantity, packaging identification, accompanying information and transportation information before shipment. After the project is completed, the final specifications and confirmation records are saved to facilitate subsequent order replenishment or version upgrades.

The specific processes of different products will vary, but "confirm first, then execute, and keep records at each node" is a universal and reusable collaboration method.
